SILVER II MATCH REPORT 28/02/2025
Round 2: Pennant Hills VS Concord @ Roseville
Another 0830 start for Silver 11 team at Roseville this morning
against Concord. The temperature already in the mid twenties,
not deterred, we remained hopeful. The team this week
consisted of Annelie Chapple, Issy Barker, Deborah Amos, Robin Hosking and Karen Patterson.
Annelie forecasted a big win coming our way, I admit I was
feeling it as well. The team put in some quality practice time.
Robin being the first one there and Deborah Amos making a
surprise appearance on the chipping/putting green,
consequently that paid off with both bathing in the limelight of
a win. Once again the rest of us finished on 16/17 holes, hence
a 3/2 lose. Definitely getting closer to that team win!
Next week we are at North Ryde against Killara . Just hope the
weather is kinder to us. Still 4 games to go and we are enjoying
those lunches!!!
